TASI edges up, Nomu stable at Monday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) inched up 0.02% or 1.32 points to reach 6,873.48 points in Monday’s early trading activities.

By 10:42 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume reached 23.68 million shares, through 12,500 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 359.36 million.

The real estate management and development, capital goods, telecommunication services, and banks sectors levelled up 0.6%, 0.4%, 0.2%, and 0.05%, respectively.

On the flipside, transportation sector shed 0.78%, followed by pharmaceuticals with 0.7%, and materials with 0.2%.

Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes’ stock led TASI’s gainers with 4%, whereas Middle East Specialized Cables’ (MESC) stock decreased 1.9%.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU remained unchanged at the level of the previous session.

The stocks of Abo Moati for Bookstores, and Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries tumbled 2.3%, and 1.4%, respectively, whereas Arab Sea Information System’s stock went up 1.5%.
