Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday up after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 0.05%, or 4 points, registering 7,517.32 points.
By 10:40 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 21.16 million shares, through 13,700 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 355.94 million.
The retailing sector rose 1.24%, while the banking sector inched up 0.27%.
On the other hand, the real estate management and development, telecommunication services, and materials sectors decreased 0.57%, 0.15%, and 0.07%, respectively.
Chubb Arabia Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock led gainers with 3.75%, hitting SAR 25.70, whereas Makkah Construction and Development’s stock fell 1.21% to SAR 79.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 3,083.84 points.
The stocks of Arab Sea Information System and Thob Al-Aseel Company declined 0.08% and 0.03% to SAR 12.04 and SAR 61.70, respectively.
