TASI ends Monday higher; NOMU edges down

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) benchmark Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) closed Monday’s trading session on a positive note for the second session in a row, rising by 36.50 points, or 0.45%, to close at 8,091.76 points.

The market’s turnover amounted to SAR 3.55 billion after 134.99 million shares were exchanged through nearly 113,300 transactions.

Buruj Cooperative Insurance Co’s stock was the top gainer with 6.2%, while Allied Cooperative Insurance Group’s (ACIG) stock headed the fallers after sliding by 3.5%.

Al Rajhi Bank’s stock spearheaded TASI in terms of liquidity with SAR 398.4 million, whereas Alinma Bank’s stock registered the highest trading volume of 10.53 million shares.

On the other hand, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, fell by 0.11% to close at 3,971.81 points.
