TASI ends Monday in green

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) finished Monday’s trading session with positive performance after the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 19.52 points, or 0.23%, to close at 8,666.69 points.

TASI’s liquidity climbed to SAR 2.76 million ($736.8 million) on Monday from SAR 2.47 million ($658.13 million) on Sunday, while traded volume increased to 127.64 million shares, compared to 115.43 million in the previous session.

The investment and finance sector led gainers after adding 1.08%, while the telecommunications sector went up 0.47%.

On the other hand, the media and commercial services sectors each fell 1.36%.  

Saudi Arabian Amiantit’s stock topped risers with 6.17%, whereas the stock of Al-Rajhi Company for Cooperative Insurance headed decliners and tumbled 7.82%.

Al Rajhi Bank’s stock spearheaded the main market in terms of trading value with SAR 292.6 million, while Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development’s stock posted the highest traded volume of 12.72 million shares.

In the meantime, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, went down 9.6 points to close at 3,604.92 points.

Baazeem Trading’s stock was Nomu’s worst performer with 1.41%, while the stock of Al-Omran Industrial Trading was Nomu’s best performer after adding 0.11%.

The joint index between Tadawul and MSCI, MT30 index went up 3.4 points, or 0.27%, to finish at 1,281.73 points.
