Riyadh – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed Thursday’s trading session in the red zone after losing 0.13% or 10.21 points to stand at the level of 7842.84 points.
The market’s turnover dropped to SAR 6.9 billion today, compared with SAR 8.65 billion a day earlier. The trading volume totalled 299.450 million shares from 388.12 million.
The banks inched down by 0.51%, whereas materials and energy added 0.35% and 0.15%, respectively.
Saudi Arabia Refineries Company (SARCO) came on top of the winners with 9.92%, whereas Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF) led the losers with 4.46%.
Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development Company saw the highest trading activity after exchanging 16.516 million shares, while SARCO generated the largest liquidity of SAR 318.446 million.
Meanwhile, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) rose by 0.61% or 50.85 points to 8349.49 points.
Development Works Food (DWF) Company gained 2.69%, whereas Sumou Real Estate Company was the only faller by 1.33%.
