TASI ends week in gains, Nomu down 1.5%

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended the week with a positive performance.

The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) rose by 1.24% or 96.26 points, and closed the week at the level of 7,840.94 points.

The market capital increased by SAR 14.69 billion ($3.9 billion) and reached SAR 1.850 trillion.

Average liquidity declined by 11.88% to SAR 4.17 billion per session, compared to SAR 4.74 billion last week.

Traded values registered SAR 20.87 billion during the week, down from SAR 23.7 billion in the previous week.

Average volumes also decreased by 6.3% to 180.7 million shares from 192.9 million shares.

As for the market sectors performance, 13 sectors closed in green, while 7 closed in red.

The materials and banks sectors added 1.98%, and 1.38%, respectively, while telecom declined by 0.51%.

On the other hand, the parallel market ended the week in losses, as the NOMU index fell 1.46% to 2,979.09 points.
