Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) saw a negative performance this week, as the market capital lost around SAR 18.66 billion ($4.98 billion), reaching a total SAR 1.99 trillion ($530.9 billion).
The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) lost 0.97%, or 82.3 points, and ended the week at the level of the 8,367.7 points.
Traded values amounted to SAR 15.8 billion, with volumes reaching 617.6 million shares, compared with 558.8 million shares in the week before.
As for the market sectors’ performance, 18 sectors ended the week in red, led by commercial services and insurance, which dropped 5.8%, and 4.7%, respectively.
On the other hand, energy and pharmaceuticals gains 3.3% and 1.7%, respectively.
