Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) indices opened Monday down, with the benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) losing 0.15% or 10.64 points to 7,170.82 points.
By 10:45 am Saudi time, turnover on Tadawul amounted to SAR 544.87 million after 31.23 million shares changed hands through 19,600 transactions.
TASI marked its third straight decline on the back of the utilities sector which dropped 1.39%, followed by materials and telecoms with 0.3% and 0.25%, respectively.
On the positive side, eight sectors were in the green, led by real estate investment trusts (REITs) which grew 2.7%, followed by insurance and banks with 0.61% and 0.13%, respectively.
At the level of TASI’s stocks, Al Jouf Cement led losers, sliding 4.5% to SAR 27.85, while SACO led gainers, adding 2.81% to SAR 117.20.
In the meantime, the NOMU parallel market index edged down 0.03% or less than one point to 3,108.46 points.
