Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Wednesday’s trading session on a mixed note, after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 16.14 points, or 0.2%, to 8,219.42 points, while the parallel market rose.
By 10:54 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume reached 15.91 million shares exchanged with a turnover of SAR 426.39 million through 14,260 transactions.
The consumer services sector declined 1.1%, followed by the food and beverages sector with 0.7%.
The telecommunication services, banking, and materials sectors fell 0.5%, 0.3%, and 0.06%, respectively.
On the other hand, the media and pharmaceuticals sectors increased by 1.5% and 0.3%, respectively.
United Electronics Co.’s (Extra) stock dropped 3.1%, whereas Zahrat Al Waha for Trading Company’s stock rose 3.3%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market went up 5.92 points, or 0.2%, to 2,961.09 points.
Raydan Co’s stock levelled up 1.3%.
