TASI falls, Nomu grows 129 pts at Thursday’s close

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Thursday’s trading session with a mixed performance.

The benchmark Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) inched down by 6.94 points, or 0.08%, ending the session at 8,846.53 points.

TASI’s turnover reached SAR 2.19 billion on Thursday, compared to SAR 2 billion on Wednesday, while the trading volume increased to 87.54 million shares, from 84.28 million in the previous session.

The retails sector topped the decliners and fell 1.32%, followed by the material sector with 0.27%.

On the other hand, the real estate funds sector headed the risers after adding 1.1%, followed by the telecommunication and banking sectors with 0.06% and 0.05%, respectively.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, advanced by 3.44%, or 129.39 points, to 3,895.62 points.
