TASI falls, Nomu levels up at Tuesday’s close

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Tuesday in the red after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) slipped 6.43 points, or 0.09%, to 7,465.47 points.

TASI’s trading volume stood at 114.45 million shares by the end of the mid-week session, against 110.57 million on Monday, while liquidity rose to SAR 2.8 billion ($750.13 million), from SAR 2.7 billion ($721.87 million).

The diversified financials sector fell 2.17%, followed by insurance with 1.45%, and banks with 0.31%.

On the other hand, the energy, telecommunication services, and materials sectors levelled up 2.12%, 0.62%, and 0.28%, respectively.

Aseer Trading, Tourism and Manufacturing’s stock led TASI’s losers after decreasing 10% to finish at SAR 11.16, whereas National Industrialization Company’s (Tasnee) stock jumped 9.94% to SAR 17.80, registering its highest level in more than a year.

In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, grew 7.78 points, or 0.26%, closing at 3,048.66 points.

Arab Sea Information System’s stock inched up 0.73% to SAR 12.38, whereas the stock of Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries declined 4.06% to SAR 64.
