TASI falls, Nomu stable at Monday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Monday’s trading session in red territory, for the second session in a row, dragged by the fall of blue chips.

By 10:35 am KSA time, the main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) went down by 0.64%, or 50.52 points, to 7,530.78 points.

TASI’s traded volume reached 18.12 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 444.4 million through 15,380 transactions.

The telecommunication sector topped the decliners falling 1.45%, followed by the banking and material sectors with 0.94% and 0.29%, respectively.

Meanwhile, the consumer durables and apparel sector headed the risers adding 1.67%.

On the other hand, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 3,893.29 points.
