Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Tuesday’s trading session in red territory, pressured by the fall of the banking and telecommunication sectors.
By 10:35 am KSA time, the main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) declined by 0.34%, or 27.28 points, to 8,230.08 points.
TASI’s traded volume reached 31.6 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 979.6 million through 40,310 transactions.
The retailing sector topped the decliners falling 1.69%, followed by the banking and telecommunication sectors with 0.69% and 0.37%, respectively.
On the other hand, the media sector headed the bourse’s gainers adding 1.32%, while the material sector inched up by 0.08%.
As for NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, it remained stable at 3,999.1 points.
