TASI falls, Nomu stable early Wednesday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) started Wednesday’s trading session in the red after losing 38.4 points, or 0.48%, to 8,000.88 points.

By 10:50am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 35.54 million shares exchanged with a turnover of SAR 708.88 million through 20,430 transactions.

The real estate sector topped TASI’s decliners falling 1.3%, followed by the telecommunication, basic materials and banking sectors, which decreased 0.74%, 0.59% and 0.26%, respectively.

The media sector headed TASI’s gainers adding 1.73%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 3,068.25 points.
