TASI falls 11 pts, Nomu plunges 93 pts

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Monday in the red zone after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) tumbled 0.16% or 11.19 points to reach 6,945.28 points.

TASI’s trading volume stood at 180.76 million shares on Monday, against 146.37 million shares on Sunday, while liquidity surged to SAR 3.6 billion, from SAR 2.87 billion.

The pharmaceuticals sector lose 1.32%, followed by materials with 0.26%, and banks with 0.21%.

On the other hand, the real estate investment traded funds (REITs) sector rose 1%, and telecommunication services inched up 0.83%.

Tabuk Cement’s stock retreated 7.14%, closing at SAR 11.96, whereas Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock was TASI's best performer after growing 6.72% to reach SAR 43.65.

In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, slid 2.95% or 93.98 points, reaching 3,096.30 points.

Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries’ stock fell 4.4% to SAR 57, whereas Raydan Co’s stock gained 3.03% to reach SAR 17.
