Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) benchmark Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) closed Sunday’s trading session in red territory, for the third session in a row, pressured by the fall of many sectors.
TASI fell by 130.54 points, or 1.47%, to finish the session at 8,739.16 points.
TASI’s turnover shrank to SAR 2.75 billion on Sunday, compared to SAR 10.49 on Thursday, while the market’s traded volume decreased to 111.2 million shares from 307.05 million the session before.
The telecommunication sector topped the decliners falling 2.3%, followed by the pharma sector with 2.1%.
Similarly, the materials and banking sectors levelled down 1.7% and 1.6%, respectively.
On the other hand, the software and services sector headed the risers adding 1.6%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, inched up 3.33 points, or 0.09%, ending the session at 3,684.72 points.
