Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) started Tuesday in the red zone after it decreased 0.2% or 14.74 points to reach 7,099.25 points.
By 10:48 am KSA time, TASI’ trading volume amounted to 17.42 million shares, through 12,000 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 376.14 million.
The pharmaceuticals, consumer services, banks, and materials sectors went down 0.62%, 0.6%, 0.3%, and 0.08%, respectively.
On the other hand, the media sector rose 1.6%, and the telecommunication services sector increased 0.4%.
Bank AlJazira’s stock was TASI’s worst performer with 8.1%, whereas MetLife AIG ANB Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock led risers with 4.5%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of Nomu-Parellel Market surged 3.05% or 96.86 points reaching 3,273.50 points.
The stocks of Thob Al-Aseel Company and Raydan Co levelled up 4.4%, and 3.9%, respectively.
