Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Thursday in the red after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) levelled down 0.26%, or 18.39 points, to 7,075.72 points.
TASI’s trading volume stood at 225.6 million shares on Thursday, against 250.6 million shares on Wednesday, while liquidity tumbled to SAR 3.9 billion ($1.04 billion), from SAR 4.2 billion ($1.12 billion).
The utilities sector declined 4.45%, followed by media with 2%, and materials with 0.11%.
On the other hand, the energy, banks, and telecommunication services sectors advanced 0.98%, 0.33%, and 0.01%, respectively.
Makkah Construction and Development’s stock led TASI’s losers with 6.41%, reaching SAR 77.80, whereas Anaam International Group’s stock went up 9.89% to SAR 16.56.
In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, decreased 0.20%, or 6.03 points, to 3,060.53 points.
Arab Sea Information System’s stock went down 3.14% to SAR 10.50, whereas Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock rose 4.07%, to SAR 11.26.
Arab Sea Information System’s stock topped Nomu in terms of trading volume and value.
