TASI falls 26.53 pts, Nomu drops 129.27 pts at Thursday’s close

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Thursday in the red zone after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) retreated 0.36% or 26.53 points to reach 7,259.22 points.

TASI’s trading volume stood at 112.9 million shares on Thursday, against 134.36 million shares on Wednesday, while liquidity fell to SAR 2.77 billion ($739.47 million), from SAR 3.2 billion ($863.2 million).

The consumer services, banks, telecommunication services, and materials sectors tumbled 1.5%, 0.73%, 0.34%, and 0.19%, respectively.

On the other hand, the insurance sector rose 1.75%, and the capital goods sector inched up 0.39%.

Anaam Holding’s stock led TASI’s losers with 3.42% reaching SAR 14.96, whereas Salama Cooperative Insurance’s stock surged 10% to SAR 24.44.

In the meantime, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market slid 3.88% or 129.27 points reaching 3,200.41 points.

Baazeem Trading’s stock grew 2.83%, closing at SAR 24 on Thursday, whereas Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries’ stock levelled down 8.85% to SAR 55.60.
