Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday in the red zone after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) retreated 0.42%, or 30 points, to 7,073.14 points.
By 10:35 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 38.23 million shares, through 17,380 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 563.5 million.
The food and staples retailing, banks, and materials sectors went down 1.55%, 0.47%, and 0.42%, respectively.
On the other hand, pharmaceuticals sector rose 0.17%, and telecommunication services sector edged up 0.15%.
Najran Cement Company’s stock was TASI’s worst performer with 3.74%, reaching SAR 9.26, whereas Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication’s (Go) stock grew 5.8% to SAR 7.32.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market remained unchanged at 3,054.46 points.
Arab Sea Information System’s stock decreased 1.38% to SAR 10.10, whereas the rest of stocks remained stable.
