TASI falls 33 pts, Nomu grows slightly early Wednesday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday in decline after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 33.42 points, or 0.45%, to 7,471.52 points.

By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 26.66 million shares exchanged through 21,700 transactions at a turnover of SAR 623 million.

The materials, telecommunication services, and banking sectors levelled down 1.15%, 0.4%, and 0.17%, respectively.

On the other hand, the media sector rose 0.89%, while the commercial and professional services sector added 0.76%.

The Saudi Industrial Export Company’s (SIEC) stock led losers after dropping 9.92%, while Anaam Holding’s stock was the best performer after jumping 9.98%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market, grew 4.78 points, or 0.2%, to 2,429.99 points.

Thob Al-Aseel Company’s stock inched up 0.35%.
