Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) saw a positive performance during the third week of May.
The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) rose 1.3% or 102.6 points, and ended Thursday’s trade at the level of 8016.8 points.
Market capitalization increased by 1.5% or SAR 28.5 billion to a total SAR 1.903 trillion.
On the other hand, traded values slightly decreased by 0.13% to SAR 19.76 billion, with volumes rising 2.13% to 905.6 million shares.
As for the market sectors performance, 13 ended the week in losses, while seven made gains, including heavyweight telecom, banks, and materials, which increased by 3.4%, 3.1%, and 1.3%, respectively.
Economic analyst Safaa Faris said that the main index is now targeting resitance levels at 8,050 and 8,170, while support remains at the 7,960 to 7,860 area.
