Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended the week’s trade on a positive note, maintaining its gains for the second consecutive week.
The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) added 1.68% or 130.37 points and closed at the level of 7,898.68 points.
Market capitalization went up by SAR 29.1 billion to a total SAR 1.867 trillion.
As for the stocks’ performance, 12 ended the week in the green zone, led by healthcare with 4.47% and telecom 2.9%. Banks and materials also increased by 2.56% and 1.18%.
On the other hand, eight sector indices closed in the red zone, with commercial services and pharmaceuticals losing 3.3% and 1.4%, respectively.
Traded volumes fell by 33.06% to 404.7 million shares, with turnovers shrinking by 30.5% to SAR 8.88 billion.
