TASI gains 59 pts on Sunday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Saudi bourse, the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI), closed Sunday higher by 0.75% or 59.09 points to 7,901.93 points.

The market’s liquidity amounted to SAR 7.96 billion where 364.920 million shares were traded via 317,160 deals.

Moreover, the food and staples retailing sector led the gainers with 3.69%, the materials sector added 1.16%, and banks and energy sectors grew by 0.86% and 0.04%, respectively, whereas the insurance sector was the top loser with 0.66%.

The Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG) headed the risers with 9.95%, whereas Abdulmohsen Alhokair Group for Tourism and Development Company topped the fallers with 2.72%.

Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development Company was the most actively traded stock on all levels after exchanging 53.53 million shares at a value of SAR 428.438 million.

Meanwhile, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) jumped by 5.30% to 8,792.15 points after earning 442.66 points.

The National Building and Marketing Company came on top of the rising stocks with 13%, followed by Development Works Food (DWF) Company with 4.62%.
