Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Thursday in the red after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) tumbled 28 points, or 0.33%, reaching 8,438.1 points.
By 10:35 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 18.2 million shares, through 16,000 transactions, generating SAR 393.2 million.
The media sector led gainers with 0.89%, followed by the materials sector with 0.76%, the food and beverages sector added 0.69%, while the banks sector rose 0.28%, and the commercial and professional services sector grew 0.23%.
On the other hand, the telecommunication services sector slipped 0.09%.
Saudi Industrial Investment Group’s (SIIG) stock was the worst performer after losing 4.5%, whereas Al Gassim Investment Holding Company’s (GACO) stock was the best performer with 7.45%.
Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, remained unchanged at 2,599.52 points.
