Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 25.38 points, or 0.34%, to 7,537.95 points.
By 10:30 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 14.6 million shares exchanged through 17,200 transactions at a turnover of SAR 452.3 million.
The pharmaceuticals, banking, telecommunication services, and materials sectors grew 1.74%, 0.56%, 0.56%, and 0.36%, respectively.
On the other hand, the consumer durables and apparel sector fell 0.67%, while the insurance sector inched down 0.6%.
Nama Chemicals Company’s stock led gainers with 2.4%, whereas Al Baha Investment and Development’s stock was the worst performer with 2.78%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market, remained unchanged at 2,406.86 points.
