TASI goes up 15 pts, Nomu slides 17 pts at Tuesday’s close

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed Tuesday in the green zone after increasing 0.22% or 15.3 points to reach 6,992.3 points.

TASI’s trading volume stood at 108 million shares, through 72,000 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 2.46 billion.

The utilities sector rose 2.05%, followed by energy with 0.96%, materials with 0.43%, and banks with 0.28%.

On the other flipside, the telecommunication services, retailing, and insurance sectors went down 0.3%, 0.75%, and 0.51%, respectively.

In the meantime, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market retreated 0.59% or 17.7 points reaching 3,011.9 points.

Nomu’s liquidity amounted to SAR 615,000 after 37,000 shares were exchanged.

Raydan Co’s stock went down 4.57%, closing at SAR 16.7, whereas Development Works Food’s stock surged 7.3% to reach SAR 66.8.
