Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Thursday’s trading session in green territory, for the second session in a row, supported by the growth of the banking sector.
By 10:35 am KSA time, the main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) grew by 0.7%, or 56.53 points, to 8,114.92 points.
TASI’s traded volume reached 29.84 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 674.26 million through 22,850 transactions.
The banking sector topped the risers adding 1.2%, followed by the telecommunication and materials sectors with 0.51% and 0.22%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the media sector headed the bourse’s decliners falling 0.08%, followed by the utilities sector with 0.02%.
On the other hand, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, decreased by 2.38%, or 94.53 points, to 3,883.18 points.
