TASI grows, Nomu falls early Sunday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Sunday’s trading session with positive performance, supported by the growth of many sectors.

By 10:49 am KSA time, the main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) grew 0.58%, or 51.70 points, to 9,019.93 points.

TASI’s traded volume reached 23.71 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 926.53 million through 20,590 transactions.

The utilities sector topped the risers adding 1.98%, followed by the consumer services and commercial services sectors with 0.9% and 0.86%, respectively.

Similarly, the banking sector levelled up 0.8%, while the telecommunication sector increased by 0.5%.

On the negative side, the retailing sector headed the losers falling 0.98%.

On the other hand, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, decreased by 0.35%, or 13.16 points, to 3,760.83 points.
