TASI grows, Nomu stable at Sunday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Sunday’s trading session on a positive note, after the main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 11 points, or 0.14%, to 8,188.7 points, whereas the secondary market remained unchanged.

By 10:40 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume reached 18 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 412.65 million through12,900 transactions.

The materials sector increased by 0.74%, while the diversified financials sector inched up 0.58%.

On the other hand, the telecommunication services sector fell 0.91%, while the banking sector shed 0.16%.

Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair’s stock led gainers with 3.86%, whereas Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia’s (Zain) stock declined 2.52%.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, remained stable at 2,960.44 points.
