TASI grows 23 pts, Nomu rises at Tuesday’s close

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Tuesday in the green after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) grew 0.32%, or 22.60 points, to 7,123.06 points.

TASI saw trading of 298.24 million shares on Tuesday, against 305.14 million shares on Monday, while liquidity decreased to SAR 4.77 billion ($1.27 billion), from SAR 4.8 billion ($1.28 billion).

The utilities sector rose 2.56%, followed by materials with 0.48%, and banks with 0.3%.

On the flipside, the media, real estate management and development, and telecommunication services sectors declined 1.95%, 0.82%, and 0.24%, respectively.

United Wire Factories Company’s (Aslak) stock went up 6.09% to SAR 16.90, whereas Solidarity Saudi Takaful’s stock tumbled 4.2%, reaching SAR 20.96.

In the meantime, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, jumped 1.6%, or 47.62 points, to 3,031.55 points.

Arab Sea Information System’s stock levelled up 13.6%, reaching SAR 11.36, whereas Development Works Food’s stock dropped 1.68% to SAR 62.70.
