Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) hit its highest level since 2 September 2020 on Tuesday after surging by 1.35% or 111.66 points to settle at 8,369.33 points.
Banks gained 1.6%, whilst telecommunication services and material jumped by 2.5% and 1.44%, respectively.
In contrast, media and entertainment, and energy levelled down by 0.05% and 0.01%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the market’s turnover reached SAR 11.7 billion where 482.5 million shares were traded.
Raydan Food Company was the top winner with 9.99%, whereas the Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Company (MedGulf) was the top loser with 4.75%.
As for the parallel market, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) edged up by 0.05%, adding 7.09 points and closing at 14,219.73 points.
Saudi White Cement Co. was the only gainer by 3.4%, whereas Development Works Food (DWF) Company headed the red territory with 4.09%.
