Riyadh-Mubasher: Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) extended its losing run for the fifth straight day, tumbling 2.16% or 134 points to reach the 6,090.86 level.
Turnover declined 5% to SAR 5.1 billion, after 233 million shares were exchanged in 110,000 transactions.
The petrochemical sector moved 0.75% higher, boosted by news about launching Aramco in an initial public offering (IPO).
The agriculture sector was the biggest faller with a loss of 6.5%, hurt by Almarai which estimated the financial impact of lifting energy prices and suspending production of green fodder at SAR 0.5 billion.
The insurance sector came second, sliding 6.2%, followed by the industrial investment which shed 5.7%.
Losers outnumbered gainers 138 to 27. Nadec was the biggest drag, plunging 9.94% to SAR 25.90. Meanwhile, ANB was the best performer of the day, rising 2.8%.
