Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) finished Sunday’s trading session with positive performance, after the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 30.60 points, or 0.35%, to close at 8,819.44 points, its highest level since 10 August 2015.
TASI’s liquidity retreated to SAR 2.61 billion on Sunday from SAR 3.31 billion in the previous session, while the market’s traded volume fell to 108.42 million shares, compared to 123.03 million on Thursday.
The banking sector led risers with 0.84%, followed by the energy sector which added 0.35%.
On the other hand, the durable goods sector headed fallers and slid 1.4%, while the capital goods sector tumbled 1.2%.
CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance’s stock topped gainers after advancing 10%, whereas the stock of Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Khodari Sons headed decliners with 7.5%.
Al Rajhi Bank’s stock topped TASI in terms of trading value with SAR 527.88 million, while Alkhabeer REIT Fund's stock registered the highest trading volume of 5.69 million shares.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, grew 23.51 points, or 0.64%, to close at 3,712.06 points.
Thob Al Aseel’s stock was Nomu’s best performer with 2.7%, while Raydan’s stock was Nomu’s worst performer after falling 4.7%.
Raydan’s stock led Nomu in terms of trading volume and value after nearly 70,230 shares were exchanged at a turnover of SAR 1.02 million.
