Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) extended its gains for the eight successive session after adding 50.79 points, or 0.575%, to close at 8,985.48 points on Wednesday.
TASI’s liquidity climbed to SAR 4.048 billion on Wednesday from SAR 3.356 billion in the previous session, while the main market’s traded volume increased to 178.06 million shares, compared to 129.98 million on Tuesday.
The basic materials sector topped gainers and added 0.86%, followed by the banking and telecommunications sectors with 0.62% and 0.5%, respectively.
Alkhabeer REIT Fund’s stock topped risers after advancing 0.50%, while the stock of Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Appliances led fallers with 0.85%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, declined 106 points, or 2.86%, to close at 3,607.33 points.
