Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 2.01 points, or 0.03%, to 7,780.06 points in Wednesday’s early trades.
By 10:40 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume reached 26.13 million shares changed hands through 19,000 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 733.6 million.
The media, food and staples retailing, and materials sectors inched up 0.58%, 0.51%, and 0.08%, respectively.
On the other hand, the pharmaceuticals sector shed 0.49%, followed by the telecommunication services with 0.35%, and the banking segment with 0.08%.
The National Petrochemical Company’s (Petrochem) stock levelled up 8.09% to SAR 26.20, whereas Alawwal Bank’s stock fell 1.02% to hit SAR 12.60.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 3,099.69 points.
Arab Sea Information System’s stock edged down 0.87% to SAR 11.50, whereas Baazeem Trading’s stock went up 0.4% to SAR 25.
