TASI increases 70 pts, 15 sectors decline

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went down 69.06 points, or 0.77%, to 8,899.8 points at Wednesday’s closing, marking its fifth successive loss.

The benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market (NOMU) grew 16.97 points, or 0.49%, to 3,487.19 points.

A group of 15 sectors levelled down, on top of which media and entertainment, which shed 2.86%, while the materials and the banking sectors lost 0.8% and 1.22%, respectively.

Meanwhile, six sectors grew, led by the telecommunication sector, which added 1.28%.

Tadawul’s liquidity rose to SAR 3.34 billion on Wednesday, compared to SAR 3.47 billion in the previous session.
