Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) went up in a week, with market capitalisation rising SAR 15.42 billion ($4.11 billion).
The Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) rose 80.18 points, or 0.92%, to 8,788.84 points in a week, while market capitalisation increased to SAR 2.079 trillion.
A group of 8 sectors levelled up, on top of which consumer services, which gained 3.9%, followed by the banking sector, which added 2.55%.
Meanwhile, a number of 12 sectors declined over the week, led by the insurance sector, which retreated 4.01%.
Tadawul’s trading volume reached 619.64 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit SAR 14.64 billion.
On Thursday, the Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) gained 22.5 points, or 0.26%, to close at 8,788.84 points.
