Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday's trading session with a positive note, after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose, while the secondary market remained unchanged.
By 10:45 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume increased 25.9 points, or 0.31%, to 8,431 points.
TASI's trading volume reached 14.27 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 49.7 million through 11,040 transactions.
The capital goods sector grew 0.69%, followed by telecommunication services with 0.61%. While the banking and materials sectors added 0.6% and 0.23%, respectively.
On the other hand, the commercial and professional services sector fell 0.91%, while the diversified financials sector inched down 0.4%.
Saudi Cable Co’s stock increased 6.16%, whereas Saudi Real Estate’s (Al Akaria) stock was the worst performer with 2.06%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained stable at 2,850 points.
