Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) retreated by 0.8% or 55.4 points to close Wednesday's trading session at 6,655.11 points, after an upward performance for two consecutive sessions.
The banks sector led 15 decliners with 0.89%, while the pharma, biotech and life science segment headed the risers with 9.96%.
Turnover edged down to around SAR 4.3 billion through 223.46 million traded shares, compared to nearly SAR 4.4 billion through 228.8 million shares during the previous session.
Meanwhile, Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Company topped 116 losing stocks with 5.37%, while Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Appliances Corp (SPIMACO) came on top of 73 rising stocks with 9.9%.
A total of six stocks remained unchanged by the end of today's trading session.
Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development Company posted the highest trading volume of around 53.58 million shares traded at a value of SAR 380.47 million.
The Nomu-Parallel Market gained 19.87 points or 0.29% to end the trading session at 6,880.92 points.
Al Omran Industrial Trading Company hit the top of the winners with 1.56%, while Development Works Food (DWF) Company topped the losers with 1.02%.
