Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) recorded gains for the third consecutive week.
The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) rose by 1.2% or 130.37 points to the level of 7,997.6 points.
Market capitalization increased by SAR 21.8 billion to a total SAR 1.897 trillion by the end of the week.
As for the market sectors’ performance, 15 indices ended the week in green, as energy went up by 5.9%, followed by media and materials with 1.8% each.
Meanwhile, banks and telecom added 1.3% and 0.1%, respectively.
On the other hand, five sector registered losses that were mostly minor, led by food production with 0.9%, retails with 0.7%, and consumer services with 0.6%.
Traded values rose by 70.3% to SAR 15.12 billion, while volumes increased by 50.19% to 607.9 million shares.
