Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Sunday in the green after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) inched up 0.02% or 1.69 points, finishing at 7,842.63 points.
TASI’s trading volume stood at 187.37 million shares on Sunday, against 213.2 million on Thursday, while trading value tumbled to SAR 4.43 billion ($1.18 billion), from SAR 5.12 billion ($1.36 billion).
The real estate investment traded funds (REITs), telecommunication services, and banking sectors increased 1.5%, 1.3%, and 0.21%, respectively.
On the flipside, the consumer services sector fell 1.01%, while materials shed 0.17%.
National Agricultural Development Company’s (NADEC) stock led TASI’s risers after gaining 4.42% to SAR 39.20, whereas Red Sea International Company’s stock declined 3.03% to SAR 17.92.
In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, rose 0.24% or 7.14 points to 2,986.23 points.
The stocks of Al Kathiri Holding and Thob Al-Aseel Company edged up 0.49% and 0.33%, respectively, while Al Samaani Factory for Metal Industries Company’s stock went down 1.72% to SAR 62.80.
