TASI opens 0.77% lower

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange opened Sunday’s session on a negative note amid a collective fall in its major sectors.

The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) declined 0.77% or 54.35 points to the level of 7,022.57 points.

Trading volume reached 36.7 million shares exchanged through 19,910 transactions, as turnover amounted to SAR 688.6 million.

The food and staples retailing sector was the worst performer after falling 1.44%, followed by the diversified financials sector with 1.4%.

The banks sector fell 1.2%, the telecom sector dropped 0.6%, and the materials sector retreated 0.4%.

Likewise, the Nomu-Parallel Market levelled down 0.14% to the mark of 4,918.81 points.
