Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) benchmark Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) opened Monday’s trading session on negative note.
By 10:44 am KSA time, TASI declined by 4.45 points, or 0.05%, to 8,817.31 points.
The market’s trading value reached SAR 393.97 million after 16.76 million shares were exchanged through around 17,340 transactions.
The software and services sector headed the decliners after sliding by 0.6%, followed by the pharmaceuticals sector which retreated 0.56%.
Meanwhile, the telecommunications, banking, and basic materials sectors dropped by 0.18%, 0.10%, and 0.03%, respectively.
On the other hand, the media sector topped the risers and added 0.9%, followed by the consumer services sector which grew by 0.7%.
Maharah Human Resources Co’s stock led the decliners and fell by 0.9%, while Tihama Advertising and Public Relations Co’s stock headed the gainers with 2%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, rose by 6.42 points, or 0.17%, to 3,708.65 points.
Al-Samaani Factory For Metal Industries Co’s stock was Nomu’s best performer with 3.6%, while Raydan Food Co’s stock was Nomu’s worst performer after sliding by 0.3%.
