TASI opens Tuesday in green, Nomu declines

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday up after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 0.13% or 10 points to 7,578.45 points.

By 10:45 am KSA time, TASI’s traded volume hit 44.3 million shares, through 21,600 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 865.5 million.

The healthcare sector grew 2.49%, followed by media with 1.24%, banks with 0.13%, telecommunications services with 0.09%, and materials with 0.16 points.

On the other hand, the pharmaceuticals sector shed 0.49% and the insurance inched up 0.28%.

National Medical Care Company’s stock gained 5.76% to SAR 49.60, whereas the Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Group’s (Medgulf) stock fell 7.75% to SAR 25.60.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, decreased 0.18% or 5.65 points, reaching 3,062.13 points.

Raydan Co’s stock dropped 2.26% to SAR 14.70, whereas Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries’ stock surged 24.75% to SAR 72.
