TASI opens Tuesday in green; Nomu remains stable

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) increased 0.14% or 9.81 points to reach 7,235.19 points in Tuesday’s early trades.

By 10:40 am KSA time, the Tadawul All Share Index’s (TASI) trading volume reached 19.87 million shares, through 15,170 transactions, generating SAR 426.31 million.

The insurance, energy, utilities, materials, telecommunication services, and banks sectors went up 0.4%, 0.38%, 0.38%, 0.21%, 0.15%, and 0.1%, respectively.

On the flipside, the commercial and professional services sector tumbled 1.3%, and the REITs sector shed 0.7%.

Middle East Paper Co's (MEPCO) stock led TASI’s risers with 3.7%, whereas Alhokair Group’s stock was the worst performer with 3.8%.

Meanwhile, the main index (NOMU) of the Nomu-Parallel Market remained unchanged at the level of 3,487.51 points.

Arab Sea Information System's and Abo Moati for Bookstores' stocks decreased 1.8% and 0.9%, respectively, whereas Baazeem Trading’s stock levelled up 1.5%.
