Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday’s trading session with positive performance.
By 10:42 am Saudi time, the main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 7.59 points, or 0.09%, to 8,686.47 points.
TASI’s traded volume reached 20.49 million shares exchanged through nearly 17,720 transactions at a turnover of SAR 502.07 million.
The consumer services sector led gainers after adding 1.2%, followed by the insurance sector which rose 0.6%.
Meanwhile, the commercial services sector headed fallers and slid 0.45%, followed by the capital goods sector with 0.4%.
Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance’s stock topped risers and advanced 3.9%, while Alinma Bank’s stock led decliners with 3.4%.
On the other hand, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, inched down 0.17%, or 6.13 points, to 3,628.40 points.
Development Works Food’s stock declined 11.1%, while the stock of Raydan was Nomu’s best performer with 0.7%.
