Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday with negative performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 229.34 points, or 2.5%, to 8,949.62 points.
By 10:50 am Saudi time, the consumer services sector led the losers with 3.5%, followed by the banking, energy, and telecommunication services sectors with 3.2%, 2.4%, and 2.2%, respectively.
On the other hand, the media sector increased by 9.9%, boosted by Saudi Research and Marketing Group’s stock, while the software and services sector inched up 0.2%.
Riyad Bank’s led the fallers with 7.8%, while National Commercial Bank (NCB) fell 6.3%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 3,660.41 points.
Al Omran Industrial and Trading Company edged up 0.13%.
