Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went down 42.86 points, or 0.48%, to close at 8,856.94 points on Thursday, marking its sixth successive loss.
The benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market (NOMU) grew 87.03 points, or 2.5%, to 3,574.22 points.
A group of 14 sectors levelled down, on top of which the telecommunication sectors, which shed 2.92%, while the materials and the banking sectors lost 0.73% and 0.17%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the media sector topped the gaining sectors on the market, rising 4.57%, while the food and staples sector added 1.59%.
Tadawul’s trading volume reached 116.46 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit SAR 3.68 billion.
