Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) opened Wednesday 0.49% or 34 points lower to reach 6,958.2 points.
By 10:30 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 15.6 million shares, through 11,000 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 388.43 million.
The materials, pharmaceuticals, and banks sectors decreased 1.16%, 0.99%, and 0.27%, respectively.
On the other hand, the media sector rose 2.8%, and telecommunication services inched up 0.54%.
Advanced Petrochemical Company’s stock led TASI’s losers with 2.04% to reach SAR 43.30, whereas Malath Cooperative Insurance Company's stock surged 9.91% to SAR 16.64.
Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU remained unchanged at 3,011.92 points.
Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries’ stock went up 3.54%, whereas Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock shed 0.12%, and the rest of Nomu’s stock remained stable.
